The person behind the canvas

Meet
the Artist.

A multidisciplinary artist and painter, Aliyah Celeste has spent the past several years creating and teaching art through private events, brand experiences, and live painting classes.

She is deeply interested in the people, stories, and experiences that make us who we are. As a biracial Black and white woman, she has always been fascinated by duality—the contrast between identities, emotions, and the different sides of ourselves we reveal to the world. Her work is especially drawn to the complexity, beauty, and strength of women.

A lifelong lover of music, Aliyah often finds inspiration in the artists and women who have shaped culture and influenced her own creative life. Her latest collection combines charcoal pencil sketching with acrylic painting to create intimate portraits of icons including Beyoncé, Aaliyah, and Alicia Keys.

Through portraiture, Aliyah is less interested in perfection than in capturing something that feels alive. She looks for the expression, attitude, vulnerability, or quiet strength that makes a person uniquely themselves. Her work is an exploration of the women who inspire her—and the qualities in them that she recognizes in herself.
